No slanging match, no tit for tat and best of all making it quick and hopefully pain free for little Suri.

Their reps released the below statement yesterday:

"We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents," their reps said in a statement yesterday.

The agreement reached means Katie has primary custody of Suri, with Tom still having 'generous visitation rights'.

The whole deal, said to have been aggressively orchestrated by Katie's lawyer father, Martin, put Tom on the defensive from the get go. He was forced to come to the party before a public hearing, scheduled for July 17th, played out which was the chance for Katie to air their dirty Scientology laundry.
