Keeping Up With The Kardashians returned to Aussie TV screens last night and Matriarch of the Kardashian family, Kris Jenner spoke exclusively with Kyle & Jackie O to face the criticism she has received over putting daughter Kim on the pill at the age of 14 and how she turned to their family doctor for support.

Kris stands by her decision saying "you can tell your child what you expect from them and obviously what is the right thing to do and [how to be] a well rounded human being, but short of locking my kids in a closet and throwing away the key, I can't go around shadowing Kim and make sure she doesn't do whatever it is I don't want her to do."

"She was sharing with me that she felt this urge to be sexual and she felt this part of her life coming on so I did what I felt was the right thing to do.

"I took her to [the family doctor to make sure Kim] daughter was well protected.

"She needed an education from a doctor's point of view as you can catch things and you know, you just have to protect your kids."
